Approaches to Learning
Approaches to Learning (ATL) in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) are
Organized into five key categories—thinking, research, communication, social, and self-management—these transdisciplinary skills are embedded into inquiry-based learning, enabling students to apply them across subjects and in daily life.
Assessment for Learning
Assessment at Wellspring is more than just a measure of academic achievement; it’s a tool for growth and development, through ongoing assessment practices, including observation, reflection, performance tasks, and student-led IB conferences with parents. By using Approaches to Learning (ATL) the curriculum supports the individual needs of learners.
