Overview: 

The Early Years Head (EYH) provides early years pedagogical leadership and expertise in planning, coordinating, assessing and documenting within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme. The EYH is invested in the wellbeing and welfare of all EY students and EY faculty. The EY maintains a high quality of student-centered learning and student agency by ensuring the proper and continuous implementation and delivery of the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme according to Wellspring’s vision for rigorous EY teaching and learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education

Minimum of three years of leadership experience

Strong knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)

Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field

Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach

Middle Years Programme (MYP)/High School Programme (DP):

• MYP (Middle School)/DP (High School) Chemistry Teacher

• MYP (Middle School)/DP (High School) Biology Teacher

• Middle School / Secondary School History, Geography & Civics (in Arabic) Teacher

• IB MYP/DP (Middle Years Programme / Diploma Programme) Librarian – BA in Library and Information Science (LIS) or Library Science
