Wellspring Learning Community owes its effective school governance to its advisory board, whose members bring valued expertise to our leadership. The board supports the school’s vision, advises on strategic and future decisions or policies, and helps set up the most convenient curriculum. It also plays a critical role in hiring and evaluating the head of school, approving annual budgets, ensuring financial stability, and monitoring the school’s adherence through a data-driven matrix of key performance indicators. Noting that regular visits by the chairperson and other board members help ensure that the school’s mission is constructively implemented.
