milestone of transition to adulthood. Whether the student is an IB Diploma candidate or a Lebanese Baccalaureate student that have specific academic requirements to earn academic diplomas, Wellspring’s
ceremony celebrates personal growth and a sense of closure and pride for seniors.

World Arabic Language Day

Wellspring celebrated World Arabic Language Day with a special opening anthem performed by the school choir, followed by a distinctive program that blended tradition and modernity, with active participation from parents in a rich Arabic cultural exhibition. The event featured diverse stations, including a creative fusion of zajal and rap, dabke to techno beats, songs, and an “Express Yourself in Arabic” segment inspired by TEDx. The celebration concluded with a theatrical performance inspired by the works of Ziad Rahbani, followed by a special tribute honoring his artistic and intellectual legacy.

Wellspring’s annual musical on stage production, integrates drama, dance, and music, enabling MYP and DP Grade 11 students to cultivate performance skills, creativity, and cultural understanding. The extra-curricular activity emphasizes collaborative exploration, critical reflection, and artistic expression in diverse theatrical contexts.

Week or Days Without Walls for MYP and DP Students

Week or Days Without Walls in an annual City Centre Campus event where learning leaves the classroom and dives into the real world through experiential experiences and skill building. MYP and DP students are required to participate in this week of pre-arranged overseas and local day trips suited to different interests and language skills.

Grade 12 IB DP Art Exhibition

The Arts, including Visual Arts, are an essential part of the IB curriculum. While some academic systems view the arts as extracurricular, the IB recognizes them as core to a well-rounded education. Visual Arts is one of the six subject groups within the DP, and students who choose it as a subject engage in a rich, research-based, and studio-driven experience.” IB

The Visual Arts Exhibition is the final, externally assessed component of the course. Over two years, students research, experiment, and create a cohesive portfolio of 8–11 original artworks, all based around a personal theme, inquiry, or conceptual focus.
